East Washington School Corporation is continually reinventing itself in effort to improvement students learning. Our mission statement states our purpose quite clearly: continuously improve the system of teaching and learning that results in increased achievement for all students! Join us in this journey this year as the 2014-2015 school year begins.
Teachers, administrators, and staff have worked hard to ensure that this school year will be our best one yet! We are implementing some exciting changes this year with the biggest being Professional Learning Communities. The staff has spent a full year laying the groundwork for our new plan, and we’re ready to apply it to the classrooms.

Universal precautions are practiced at East Washington School Corporation. Students receive education through health classes at all grade levels within the district annually. Look for more information as a result of the community meeting soon from the district.

New Logo Selected
The Board has selected a new corporation logo based on your input! Thank you for participating in the selection of a new corporation logo. We had 952 votes cast through the survey resulting in a landslide for the new logo displayed. Within all demographic groups of those responding (student, parent, staff, community member), this logo was everyone’s top choice. Look for the new logo to be used soon once it is trademarked/copyrighted through the proper channels. Created by a former EHS graduate, Victoria George, this logo will be used to demonstrate excellence in education at East Washington School Corporation.
For the 2014-2015 school year, the charge limit will be $5.00 or the equivalence of 2 meals. Students will not be allowed to charge past this amount EWSC Crisis / Bullying Tip Line
To anonymously report a crisis or incident of bullying at East Washington, please call 967-3926 and press 7. Please leave a detailed message covering the type of bullying that is taking place. An East Washington administrator will address the report as soon as possible.
